Is Vitex Toxic???

Does anyone know if Vitex is toxic to horses???

It's also known as Butterfly Bush.

My neighbors have one that is pushing through a fence into my boys pasture. I can't tell if they are eating it slowly or if it's just not coming through the fence very successfully.

None of my references show the landscape plant "Butterfly Bush" or Vitex spp on their toxic plants list. However, "Butterfly Weed" a.k.a. all the milkweeds (Asclepias spp) are toxic.
