It's great to "talk" with people who get it. When I first brought this idea up with H, he was not in favor! I do not need his permission, but my life is a lot more enjoyable when he and I are on the same page. So I kept talking about Squirt... it was only a day or so before he caved and said he knew I wouldn't stop thinking about him so go on and do it

NOW though, he is very excited about him and asking if I think he'd be good with this or that mare / filly

While he won't admit it to me, I know from overhearing his conversations with others that he is really proud of the horses we have. And H has enjoyed reading this thread
