That was a very scary sight!!! What a happy ending though!

I didn't have the camers when I first got to her. One hoof was caught with the other one out about three inches. I moved the stuck hoof and pulled him out, wiped the membrane from his nose. I then ran to the house grabbed a towel and camera as I yelled something about it to Shirley. He had not moved when I got back and I started to do chest compressions. After three or four I see a signs of breathing. In less than a minute he raised his head some. When he fully raised his head Babydoll raised her head. By that time Shirley was with me and took more pictures. Scary is correct!

The year before we lost a mare that her foal would not pass thru the birth canal. I held her on the trailer floor while the vet tried to remove the foal which was not successful.
