It's not even officially Hurricane season yet is it?

Destined to hit the Carolinas by Wednesday or Thursday so they say.

They all usually come with spin offs too.

We all need to say our prayers that this thing blows back out to sea.

I thought that hurricane season started back in May or June??? I could be wrong. We're not supposed to get much out of it here. They are saying 2-3 inches of rain. We need the rain desperately here.

Ophelia is a very minor stage 1.

Officially hurricane season ends on November 1st. Not sure if it begins in May or June. I sure hope the storms are watching the calendar.

Good news, according to weather.com, as of 11:00 this morning, it is back down to a tropical storm. Still not something I'd want coming directly at me, but not as bad as a hurricane. Hurricane season starts June 1st.

Starts June1st- Ends November 30th.

We are leaving Sunday for vacation to the Outer Banks, NC.

I need the rain and expect to get some from Ophelia, some winds but not heavy. Well, that's how it looks now for where I am

Stay tuned.

I'm about an hr from Elizabeth City, NC & same from Virginia Beach, VA...so, whether it hits NC &/or VA coast, I'm destined for rain!
