I need to get an accurate measurement but don't have a measuring stick. I have tried using a soft measuring tape but am having problems. Can someone please give me advice on how to do it? Sometimes it looks like 33" and then sometimes it looks like 34". I know the stick would be much easier :DOH!

Thanks so much!

The stick with the level on it really is the only way to get an accurate measurement. Because minis are measured to the nearest QUARTER INCH it really makes a huge difference! It's not like big horses, where an inch or two off is no big deal.

I suggest you invest in a stick, they can be found for $20-30, or if you only have one mini and never intend on measuring more than once or twice, find someone in your area who you can borrow from.
