Hello - My yearling gelding Bondini doesn't seem quite right. I have a call into my vet so I can run the symptoms by them.

He seems less energetic and is only picking at his grain and hay. I'll take his temp when I get there tonight. He is not acting colicky in any way. No laying down, gums are normal, drinking normal water, normal poop. No digging, yawning, streching and he has gut sounds.

He does have running eyes, ans I had put triple anti-biotic in them for 3 days. No nasal discharge at all, also no coughing or sneezing.

He just isn't quite right, almost like he is real tired. Any ideas? What else can I be checking for?

Have you considered ulcers??? I have a weanling who developed ulcers and the biggest sign was he was off grain and dead quiet.

Good luck.
