Never seen this before. It is so cool! Thank you Marsha for sharing. The pieces are beautiful. This would be something I could use for some of my Dolly dogs hair... I still find it everywhere and had been wondering if I could use it for needle felting....maybe make a tiny dog out of it but I think I like this better.

I have a piece very similar to the ones shown. I received it as a gift probably 30/35 years ago. Very different.

It is very popular in New Mexico. That is where I first saw it when we lived there. But I never really knew how it was made.
