- back to # 32 - yep, I bought him! Brought him home in the back seat of our pickup. He was a doll - didn't mess the whole 4 hours!!

Lots of buyers/sellers worked to meet or match reserves, some went up, and some went down. Nice sale!!

Thanks for posting the prices. We were there but left before the auction started....lol. I delivered a horse there to his new owners and had a horse from Wade that I bought along so we wanted to get back on the road. I did wander around and look at the horses several times with my husband saying..no, no, no and no.

Thank you so much for posting.

Over all though, I think the prices were a bit low considering the quality of horses that were presented. (although admitedly I didn't see them in person, I have the catalog).

In your list, number 46... was that a misprinted price, or a misplaced comma? Was the sale price 1,000, or 10,000?

Thank you for posting, I am glad I didn't put a horse in it since those prices were so low. Sadly for the breeders, a buyers market.

I am also glad I didn't go, might have been tempted to buy one of those great deals when I am trying so hard to sell most of my horses!

Yes those prices are LOW........

I have the catalog also and think for what I see in print the prices should be quite a bit higher.

#57 is what caught my eye - the Russian daughter, probably a good thing I wasn't there.

sadly i couldnt go this year but this is one of the most fun auctions to go to!! Probably good i wasnt there as i heard there were some fillies that are the "type" i like that went very reasonably.

Im so happy for my friend ginny as she got the silent auction colt she wanted so badly. Ginny why havent you posted a pic??? I was supposed to go see him today but im coming down with something

I wanted to add I saw a VERY unique colored mare - looked like a red roan with solid red spots. Almost like she was dusty and someone sprayed her with water! And she had a red pinto (50/50 almost) foal. Talk about color!! Sorry, I don't know what lot she was.

The folks at Double Diamond also hosted a pork barbeque Friday night, with all the fixin's! They are very nice, and run a good sale.

Kay there was a mare there that was branded with your name on her hip. OH MY!

Ginia and I had a GREAT time.

I will be going again next year with MORE MONEY! Maybe my cremello will show up?

Hey Whitney - did you buy anything? I could have met a forum member! One of the silent auction horses was a perlino-went for about $300

They also had a small tack auction Friday night along with the BBQ, just enough stuff to not get boring! I was able to pick up a couple of nice feeders for 1/4 of what their retail price is.

theres always next year..............................................................

kim im so sorry you didnt get her. I just love my bond snippet mare. Shes the one that gets so much attention when people come here.

Kay the only thing wrong with that mare was she was the wrong color. So I wasn't heart broken.
