Well, we are home and we did well I think.... Sweet Tart got top ten in youth exhibiting jr stallion with John Eckbold...Carbon got 5th in futurity halter, 4th in futurity roadster, I got Champion PMC Showmanship and res champion halter with Carbon and got Reserve Champ driving with Strut N Stuff, congradulations to Mandy Gough Minihorsehugs on her halter championship with Easter and Driving championship with Beth! Little Indy was the only one of my kids that didnt get a ribbon. Classes were huge! Competititon very tough!! Brought a corgi girl home so I didnt shop as much as usual.

Met Bonnie and hugged her neck, also met Stephanie, Reo, renewed acquaintance with Dr Pam, Laura, Miss Mia who was loving the puppy all week, Wild oak, Davie, and many more Im too tired to rememeber!

Lots of Drama when the groom we hired quit at the worst time on furutity day.... Bruce had a very hard time breathing, Collapsed after a halter class but did his driving classes wearing oxygen and placed very well.

We really want to aknowledge the Lennie Bertrand family for coming to our aid and finishing clipping and bathinge three horses and then showing halter for us the next morning. Josh and Christina were awesome and words cant express how greatful we are!!!!

Bruces trailer was one that was stollen after we had put a few harnesses including the lutke in it. In the time it took for him to run to the store to get a fuse the trailer was gone. Fortunately there was a dealership that had a used bumperpull stock trailer that we could buy to get our horses home!!!!

Will share more later but still have to empty the truck and trailer and pack for the fair tonight.

Wanted to also remember my best friends Rachael Hodges who cooked for us all week and Alice Nelson farrier and now also groom extrordinare who worked her butt and three other butts off to help and then help Bruce drive home. Without these two the whole thing would have been a train wreck!

More later...

Lyn

We were so glad to be stalled next to this group, what a bunch of nice people. And sure hated that Bruce got to felling so bad. Alice was a great help to us too, love having our regular farrier at a show.

Your horses looked great as usual Lyn and we had a fun playing with Ester too. And the puppies were very cute.

Congratulations on all of your placings.

Congratulations on your wins... Sorry to hear that you & your friends had some rough times. Glad to hear that you & your horses are back home safely.

Congrats on your successful week, Lyn. So sorry to hear of all your troubles, though.

I was shocked to see Bruce driving with an oxygen tank on. Aside from the obvious reason of needing to breathe, why did he need it? Has he been having heart troubles or something? I never had a chance all week to go and talk to him.

Congratulations Lyn! It was great meeting you at nationals! Thanks for letting me meet all of your minis!

I'm happy you are home safe and sound and with some ribbons AND a new baby.

It just makes me sick to read about the trailer being stolen and about Bruce having breathing problems. He seems like such a wonderful person.

Jill

PS tell Rachel I still love the heck out of Firefly!

How awful to have a trailer stolen. What miserable people some are in this world today to do a low down trick like that.

Congradulations on your wins, sounds awesome!! I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble you had, hope things get better! Have fun with the new one!

I heard about trailers being stolen, and some good friends caught someone trying to break into theirs, the last night we were there.

It's pretty scary!

Congrats on your placings, Lyn!

Lyn, meeting you and getting that hug was wonderful! I keep thinking back to that time and I smile. Congrats on your great placings! Your horses are beautiful. I feel so badly for Bruce. How is he feeling now? I hope to see you again next year and I hope I'm not in such shock and able to talk more. I hate being shy.

Hi Lynn, congratulations on your wins, and sorry about all your problems. We walked over to you stalls several times but couldn't catch up with you. We got to talk to Bruce and I also got to meet Dr. Taylor and saw Franc's sire (Chad). Maybe we'll catch up with you next year. Glad you made it home. Cindy

We saw Esther alot in fact the night before that storm we made her really wild

she was playing and having a great time but then we figured we better leave and let her settle down for a bit before she had to work but raven went and gave her a pat every time we passed your barn.

Congrats on your placings Lyn!

How aweful for Bruce! His trailer was set up so absolutely perfectly for minis and small ponies - what a huge loss! Let Bruce know he's in my thoughts and prayers - I hope the breathing thing was nothing serious and that he's fully recovered soon!
