This has been bugging me for so long, and now I am finally asking! LOL

Anyway, everytime I try to set willie up or bait him, he sticks his hind legs waaay out and stretches his neck like there is no tomarrow! Like I will get infront of him move my scrunchie around (its what gets his attention

) and then he does that parked out thingy! I tell him he isn't a Tennessee Walker with a stretched neck, but does he listen? no way

. I am starting to wonder if his old owners taught him that.. Or maybe I just have a wierd horse (big possiblity

)

All advice welcomed! Thanks a ton

Yes, I have tried to correct him, but then he goes back into his parked out deal..

Have tried to re-teach him, he still parks out..

Find a wall you can back him up to. Start his feet that way. As long as his back feet are straight. Then tease him as far forward as you want him. Dont stretch his neck straight out hold his head up first then ask for the neck just a little. Backed up to a wall or garage door he can only park out so far.
