Hi--

I saw some forum members' trailers at this sale, but I didn't really meet anyone new besides a creepy guy who sat down beside me....Anyways I wrote down about 1/3 to 1/2 of the prices if anyone is interested. There was a driving horse that seemed nice, but it was hard to tell since he wasn't actually hooked up. Oh the number of minis I would have if money was limitless.....

Sure, post away. Was looking at going to the sale, but realized it was a day too late!

LOL I know what you mean about being a day late, I was close by on Sunday but no way could have made the sale on Saturday and if I had wouldn't have had a ride home for any horses....but sure was wishing I could have been there.

Sad to say looks like donkeys sold as well or better than Mini horses. Not sure about quality of horses-difficult to say without seeing them or looking at pedigrees.

There was a Rivers Edge mare being offered that I would love to have, but knew she would go high, and I'm not breeding anymore, I wonder if she sold.

Those are really sad prices. Does it being a late fall sale have anything to do with it? I might be hard to find more hay for the winter this late in the season.

Wow, that's really a bummer. I have never bought by auction to this date, but I guess never say never. There were some nice minis (according to the pictures on the web site). I really shouldn't say it, but I'm going to. Visual example of the way things have been going. Have to pray for this Country! I almost feel like if I'm going to live my dreams I better do it now, because nothing is guaranteed. Just the way I feel. Anyone who breeds ought to breed at this point for themselves, and make sure they can do everything in their power to keep the horse for his lifetime. Obviously, don't quit livin' don't quit enjoying this awesome breed, breed less, but I wouldn't stop altogether. But it's time to be aware. Being a late Fall sale probably has A LOT to do with it. Still, I'm really sad to see that

RiverRose - the RiversEdge mare (L & D Scout daughter!) did not sell - I'm thinking she brought less than $500 - she was also bred for 2014.

I was there until about three quarters of the way through ( less than 100 mini horses consigned and smallest sale they've had that I'm aware of) - I couldn't take listening to prices anymore. Made me sick!

LOT 28 - was a DOUBLE DESTINY SON - they left him go for $125!!

Here's additional sale lots up until I left:

30 - Amir OR I C son - weanling - No sale - didn't bring much

31- appy mare - $225

32 - pinto mare - 375

33 - blk/white pinto filly - 250

34 - black filly - 125

35 - Scout/Buckeroo pinto filly - 775

36 - leopard appy filly - 800

37 - Scratch

38 - Scratch

39 - bay filly - 250

40 - White Russian grandson - cremello - 125

41 - buckeroo mare - bred - 400

42 - palomino yearling colt - 150

43 - Sub. - brown mare - 400

44 - Galloping G Zoom Zoom Zak - previously owned by RHA Minis - 125

45 - bred mare - didn't catch the amount

46 - Appy colt - 275

47 - weanling colt - 100

48 - Redi Or Not daughter - bred - red pinto - 400

49 - palomino mare - bred - 500

50 - White Russian granddaughter - weanling - 200

51 - 09 stallion - no info - 125

52 - Uno De Mayo & Buckeroo granddaughter - weanling - 300

53 - grade appy weanling colt - N/S

54 - Choctaw Charlie son - 02 model - 125

55 - Uno De Mayo daughter - bred - 550

Lot of nice quality horses there that sold for next to nothing! Alot of weanlings that only had applications or had WCMHR applications. Very sad to watch.
