We are leaving for Nationals in a little while, but we're hoping Tulsa has wireless service!
Geena's temp is normal, her neurologic smptoms have been gone for TWO DAYS and she's showing a little attitude and some appetite (not much, but some).
I have to lean more towards WNV at this point, but I am just thrilled that she's showing improvement. If it was WNV, it was a mild case and no, she was not vaccinated, nor was her Dam. Dr. Nancy said that she hasn't seen a case in two years, but the previous years' cases were all (properly) WNV vaccinated horses.
She will stay with Dr. Nancy while we are gone, where I know she will be watched and loved on.
