One of my horses is so sensitive to bites in his ears. I've tried a lot of things and nothing seems to repell them. So I got him a mask with ears from Ozark. He looks pretty silly, but hey! it seems to be working. He actually seems to enjoy wearing it. And it also protects his pink nose.

Thanks for posting the photo! I've been wondering how well those masks would fit, and it looks like they fit really well. I would definitely buy those if I could only get Risha to stop pulling them off himself and Crystal. The ones I have are off - and pounded in the dirt - within minutes. I even tried putting the masks on under a tight-fitting halter. No luck. Both my horses got icky scabs from bug bites at the base of their ears last year. For now I'm using roll-on fly repellent, and that seems to be working okay for now.
