Ok, I've tested three mares and just got back the results

#1 reads 2.5 -- Vet says non pregnant

#2 reads 15.78 -- vet says no, but retest next month

#3 reads 80 -- vet says yes, definitely pregnant.

So I know you all have much more experience than my vet with minis (not bad mouthing him, just complimenting you all)

What do you guys think about mare #2. She would be between 78 - 106 days gestation.

thanks

We had our mare, Zoe, checked in Nov of 2005.

The resulting reading was 15,000, what our vet said was VERY pregnant.

She was.

He said a positive for pregnancy was between 4,000 and 15,000.

Do not know how that translates to the figures you have.

I'll have to call my vet back and see what units these measurements were in . They dont seem to be related at all to your results Equiisize.

That's what I'm thinking. I'd be just fine with that, two babies next year would keep me very busy. And dreaming of them will make the winter fly along. Anyone else have numbers to compare to mine?
