Wanting to shop rates and coverage, who is your carrier?? What is your annual price range for coverage? What does it cover??? THANK You in advance for any info

I think at one point my parents had insurance on my little show mare I had but after we sold her and got my next competition horse my parents never did it again. We never had any major illness' with the mare so it might have been a waste of money to them, I have no idea.

My advice is to get both surgical and mortality. A mortality only policy will not pay off should you decline to pursue any recommended medical help, regardless of the chance it would be cost prohibitive. I would never recommend equine morality without medical / surgical coverage.
