jenny bred to a stallion will give you a....hinny? mule? jorse? (LOL)

I forgot...would someone kindly fill me in?

And what's the difference between a "jenny" and a "jennet"

what's a gelded jack called?

Windy4mini, you are close ..just reversed it! a jenny bred to a stallion is not a mule...it is called a hinny. A mule is when you bred a jack and mare together. Isnt this donkey terminology wonderful?? If you look thru the post you will see a picture of my hinny, Snickers, they are MUCH harder to breed for then a mule. Maybe today I can get a picture of him and post it and minimule can post a picture of her mule, so you can see the difference. Corinne

Thanks! After I posted I read in another thread about longears.com and I am there right now reading everything!
