Donkey Teeth

I am new to the world of miniature donkeys and I may get the opportunity to look at some this weekend. I was wondering if the mini donkey's teeth develop a Galvayne's groove as the horses do. Do they get their permanant teeth at the same ages as horses?

Is there a reliabe way to tell the age of mature donkeys?
