Difference in 401 and 501 Double K clippers?

I have a pair of each, and an extra pair. I am going to sell of one but want to make sure there is not a huge difference in one model over the other. Thanks for the help!

The 501 has a larger motor, therefore more power. Because more power the blades can run slower and still clip well. Becuase running slower the blades don't heat up as quickly.

I have 2 sets of 501s. Unfortunately the company is no longer making the 501. If I could I would buy up all of the 501s I could find.

Thanks Charlotte, I think I am becoming one. I think I have one pair of clippers for each show I do a year,,, three! So a little over kill!
