With bringing the horses home finally, and starting to build a small herd, we finally decided we needed a "farm name" and I thought what the heck, might as well have a website too. I just started working on it. I decided since Im not breeding, and dont focus on selling horses, I would just make a really simply free website. Its no where near done yet, and heck, all the horses arent even on it yet, but it has a pretty good foundation started.

What I dont like, or dont have finished yet:

-See how it says Valley Acres Miniatures at the top in that funky font and not centered? Need to figure out how to change that font and center it. I cant remove it completely. I dont like the bar under it either, but apperantly I cant remove it? Im going to mess with it some more, because what I want is it to say "Welcome to Valley Acres Miniatures" in the maroon font centered where it currently says valley acres miniatures.

-I still need to add our new colt to the horses page

-I would like to add a show results page and have each horse, along with their show results listed.

-Im thinking about adding an "our family" page to add pictures of my son. I know its a horse website, but Im a proud mama and like showing pictures off of my little man.

-Some pages you will see an area where It looks like I need to throw a picture on it between title and paragraph, I just need to get more good pictures of my horses. I have tons of pictures, just not a lot of good ones to put on a website.

-Im guessing you will see ads on the website, while I dont like them, for my needs, its really not worth me paying for a premium website and buying my domain name so that I dont have ads

Please go ahead and tear it apart.

I like it. It is very clean and has a nice look to it. I do my own website also and get a bit carried away so it is refreshing to see one so nice as yours is. It was easy to navigate and your pictures are very nice! You have a great start..good job! Pretty horses also! and if the line you are talking about at the top...to me, it looks like a site divider line...I like it

I love it!

Easy to navigate, does exactly what it says on the menu- what's not to like??

The only thing I would say is- I LOVE your Moe but the picture is "spoiled" by the heavy halter- the horse is gorgeous, the halter....mmm, not so much!

It's a nice and neat little website. Loved your horses and animals.

I didn't notice the Title page being off centre. It all looked very nice to me and easy to get around. Good Job

The site looks good, but I'll see if I can help you center things here and change things as you want them.

Go into your back end, html HOME page.

Do you see where it says..

href="http://valleyacresminiatures.webs.com/" >Home</a></li>

That is the start of a block about a third of the way down the page.

Copy and paste everything ABOVE that and send it to yourself in an email, in case you want to put things back as they were.

Now, highlight and copy this below (highlight and hold down control C)

Delete everything in your html that I told you to copy to an email.

Replace it with that which I have written below and I think it will turn out as you want it. Dont forget to save. I tested it on my computer and the page turns out perfectly.
