Thought I would share the crocheted headbands that I made for my granddaughters.

First is Ellie's - She loves purple and picked out a button that she liked.

Then Emmy's

And Cori's

All were fun to make and quick projects. I sewed a little elastic in the back to make them fit tighter and stretch and used my Singer featherweight sewing machine to attach the elastic.

I hope they like them as much as I do. lol

Good idea about the elastic. Fun for the girls! Will you make wider ones for winter?

Yes on the wider ones. I am just getting started on winter hats too. I was experimenting with the ribbon yarn for embellishing and hope to use some of it on the hats. I am also getting ready to order a bunch of cute buttons for embellishments.

I am hand quilting everyday and this helps to keep me feeling like I am getting something done. I think it will be another 6-8 weeks before I have this lap quilt done as it is not a priority. I just want to finish it this year!
