Since someone mentioned seeing something, I thought I'd mention...may depend on your time zone, I'm in the central time zone, but Discovery Health has a show on chimeras on right now. "I am my own twin" it's called. Very interesting...I'd seen it before.

Since the possible chimera filly came up...might be interesting to see!

OH I've seen it twice. It's fascinating!!

Actually I remember I watched it, then about 2 weeks later on an episode of House a kid was chimeric ... I actually beat House to the diagnosis! Lol.

There are several videos, I found them for you. The sound is not perfect quality, but still fine, and this is very interesting to watch! Otherwise, perhaps Discovery Health will be playing it again! Hope I got all of these links right. Otherwise, I just went to You Tube's website, and did a search for "I am my own twin"

It seems that my Grandmother had her own twin growing inside her for some years. She had been experiencing stomach pains, they operated and removed what looked like a deformed head with a full set of teeth and a huge tuft of hair!

It doesn't sound like a twin, Leonie. It sounds like a Dermoid Cyst. My mom had one, too. Fairly common: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dermoid_cyst
