Can someone tell me (easy to understand) or share a link that explains "what" the champagne color is? Is it related to cream dilute, or totally different?

Champagne sometimes has a similar expression to Cream, but they are an entirely different gene. If you will click on this link http://www.ca.uky.edu/gluck/EPTRL.asp#color and scroll down to Champagne, it will explain it.
 
Thank you!!! I read that just right after I asked :DOH! Still not sure I get it but sounds like it looks similar to cream, but is completely different.
