Anyone care to share ideas on where to get the best price on a cell phone? I don't really care if it is new or a good used one. I do want a flip phone with large numbers, a camera, speaker and texting. Thanks for any ideas.

I just got Jessie a new Slider that has full keyboard and a camera. Also internet ready. We have been with T-Mobile for about 8 years now and her phone didn't cost a thing. Actually, cost $75 with a $75 mail in rebate. T- mobile is a pretty good CO.

Your best bet is to shop with the servers. The two top competitors in the cell phone market (IMO) are T-Mobile and Verizon. There's also AT&T and U.S. Cellular.

Find out what each company offers for monthly service (so many minutes of talk time, plus texting.) Then compare what phone(s) they offer for free with their service, or if you upgrade what the discount is.

It's a pain, but it's worth shopping around.
