I am sure you could go to the show and find someone to handle your horses but the one thing I love about pinto is that you can do well handling your own horses. I show pinto exclusively and judges have commented on the mini people cheering each other on and helping each other. The fair show isn't a big one in the Oregon circuit and it would help you get your feet wet in showing in a low stress invironment.

I can't stress enough how wonderful the mini people are that show the Oregon shows. Back at the Pinto World show I blew out my knee 2 steps into my first class and a Washington trainer that is at all the shows offered to show for me. She helped Sandy (Eclipse) braid her mare's tail for hunter and we all help each other out. We all frequently hang out together in the down times and socialize with each other at the stalls or gather at someone's trailer.

Try it, you'll like it.
