I don't really know enough to know if there is a relationship.

HOWEVER, Khaki had an imbalance and it caused her to have the top part of her face get big. We put her on a supplement and changed how we fed her (after her surgery, we had been feeding her different than the others and apparently not good enough). Her face is back to normal now, but it took about 6 mos. When the vet was out to geld Jack last fall was when I had him look at her. He said right off the bat it was from an imbalance.

If I had been asked to describe what her face looked like back then, I'd have said it looks like she's got tooth bumps, but on the top.
