I got three bags of BP this morning, dumped one in the yearling barn, didn't think anything of it when I saw it looked dark. I thought it had extra molasses in it. The one in the girls barn looked normal.

So, tonight I fed some out to the boys, but thought it didn't look "right". So I tasted a piece- it tasted like burnt popcorn! I immediately pulled what I had fed to the guys, but they did eat some. (less than a cup each- we feed it dry and mixed in with the other stuff)

Do you think it will hurt them? They didn't get a lot. They also weren't snarfing their dinner down like normal- another clue it was nasty. They chowed down on the new stuff.

I'm taking that bag back to the feed store for sure.... ick.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Lucy
