I was at a clients farm over the weekend clipping foals and the handheld part of my Double K Clippers got kicked out of my hand onto solid brick flooring, now my terminology may not be spot on, but the hard plastic area inside the end of the handheld part of the clippers..where the cord actually attaches and is held onto the hand piece, that hard plastic area BROKE off....has anyone delt with this before? I am just wondering what its going to cost, or around, and what parts exactly I will need replaced so I can get my finances in order to get this taken care of. Naturally, this would happen in the middle of show season, just 3 weeks before Congress

Also these clippers are just over 2 years old.

Photo looking "inside" the bottom of the handpiece of the clippers, you can see where the hard plastic "broke". Im not sure if any damage was done inside the actual handpiece of the clippers, I am expecting to have to have the hand piece replaced which I see at Ft Worth Shaver is $129. But what can you do ...

The Achilles heel of KK clippers. Don't fret. Go get yourself a tube of quick set epoxy. Pull the cable out. Epoxy the part back in place with a small amount of the epoxy. After it sets fill the cavity around this part with the rest of the epoxy. I have done this on all of my KK's. Bad design in my opinion. Cost less than $5.
