Dollie who was pasture bred has been acting wierd the last couple of days. She does not stay with the other mares and she has been pawing the ground and kicking her belly a lot lately.

She was laying down and started kicking her belly then she started rolling, but not side to side. She is also doing a lot of tail twitching and belly biting.

I am wondering if she is getting close or not. She is on my web cam now.

Please give me opinions.

Those are all definitely signs of getting close to the end of her pregnancy.

You should also be checking other signs on her....such as her bag, super soft butt muscles, whether her belly is still wide or hanging low, and if you can get any milk from her - how sticky it is.
