You're lucky you're close enough to a builder to have that done. Out here in the Pacific NW we're out $300-450 shipping ONE WAY and have no one within a few thousand miles who can do even mild repairs with any expertise.

If you don't have friends who engineer or weld...you're out of luck.

After a few bad experiences that way I've learned to only buy products long-distance from experienced companies with good reputations, and preferably only after I've seen an example with my own eyes.
