Please tell me I'm reading this right!

After over a month of being afraid to put these 2 together I decided to try it again. They were together for an hour or so yesterday; then today Kitten didn't even want to eat. She stayed by the fence instead. So I decided to do it again.

This is what started after about 20 minutes or so. I'm interpreting it as bonding...please don't tell me I'm wrong.

"You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

I can't reach your back. But I promise, I'll scratch where I can reach"

Mutual grooming is a sure sign of acceptance and friendship. They may still have a little tiff or disagreement but I'd say they're fast friends now. Great pics!

I just know there must be eyes under there somewhere!!!

Thanks for the nice replies. I was absolutely thrilled to see this. Sorry the pictures are so darned big; I tried 3 times to downsize them. Obviously it didn't work.
