I advertise on Horsetopia...dreamhorse and have good luck selling my big mares. p.s. I have a very nice paint mare selling for reasonable to a good home. Broke but needs intermediate rider as she has not been ridden since my car accident. Willing to trade for stuff too. On my website it is ANNIE

Well I surely am not an intermediate rider..........hence I am looking for a dead broke horse

Ash since you are looking for a broke riding horse, I would not look on the internet

where you would not be able to go and ride the horse.

I would only look in your area where you would be able to physically go and ride the

horse yourself and take him out for many test rides first. You also need to watch him

be handled, clipped, bathed, saddled up etc. and see how he reacts. There is a huge

difference in buying a mini that you would of course never ride and a big horse as you

know. So I would keep my search confined to local and surrounding counties nearby. I would

also suggest you go visit some stables and ask there to see what they might have

available sitting around. By the way, you'll probably find a whole lot of riding horses

that are 11. Seems 11 is the favorite cut off age for riding horses for sale. They never

seem to get older than 11

Also, it would not hurt to go to any of the local auctions where horses are getting dumped.

I know its buyer beware there in a big way but you would at least get to try the horse out.

Good luck and happy trails.

we have two Missouri Foxtrotters, mares, for sale, one a tried and true trail horse, the other, halter trained only.

Don't know just what you are looking for, but would certainly like for you to consider a foxtrotter.

You are right about the MFT that is the two I sold first. Very good and mild mannered and awesome on the gait!

If I could have continued to ride I would have kept them. Our paint is sweet to but with me not riding anymore hubby says to sell because he does not want to ride by himself and really does not have the time with work and all the overtime and if you are new to riding You should test ride first.

I do look on the net close to home. Everything I am intrested in I have calls to go see and test ride.
