Anyone have an opinion on what the best A5 type clipper blade is? I have always like Andis but am curious to know what others think and may know or have learned. I am looking at Oster, Andis, and Laube blades. My main concern is how sharp are they, how long they stay sharp and how cool they stay. I will be using them on Double K clippers. Let me know your thoughts....

I have had the best luck with the Andis but have also used Oster ones and they werent bad but I feel the Andis stay sharp longer.

As a former dog groomer, I like andis 5F, but have not used them on the horse clippers so I can't answer about them getting hot on them, but if you have two or more blades you can rotate, also keep cool lube handy.
