Figured I would post an update on the Bell P 59 fighter I am working on.

Or should say, trying to find time to work on it. Seems like all I do lately is mow the grass. :p

Added the under color to the lower red stripes, working on the wings and under body more.
At this rate will take me another couple of months to finish. LOL

This picture grabs me! I would buy this and hang it! Maybe because it's a part of history... ? I don't know but I liked the first time and I like even more now!!! Can't wait to see the finished product!!

Very cool!

Very glad you like it, Thank you for your wonderful comment!

Think, if I remember correctly the Bell P 59 was one of the first jet powered fighters. Love painting Military aircraft. VBG

It's coming right along! I love seeing updates and can't wait (though I must LOL) for it to be finished!

Is going to be super hot this week, so I should be able to work on it. VBG Thank you REO!

Sorry it looks washed out.... camera is a bit iffy.

Very slowly moving along with this painting. Worked on the bottom stripes of the flag, with shadowing and some of the fine detail of this fighters underbelly.

Still have the wings to finish up and need to tone down the lower red stripes.
