I thought he was black... now not sure... he tested NOT bay. Mom is dun, but his stripe is very faint..

What do you think??

What a cuty!!! Love his face, looks like a little character. Not sure on the color, pretty though.

Still think he's black, he's just faded because of the sun.. Both are black pinto boy and black appy boy look like your guy right now, but both were born black as night, especially the little app fella

What exactly did you test him for? What genes specifically?
I tested for agouti. It was negative.

His dam is a red dun, sire bay pinto, homozygous for black, heterozygous agouti, heterozygous tobiano

No cream in mom or dad.

I think he is a grullo like his sister... a very dark grullo, only he doesn't have much of a dorsal stripe,

neither does his dam,, (who has thrown TWO distinct duns)....

What do you think?
