:No-Sadoh no, sorry to see that. Not sure on the quality that was there but prices dont look good

Actually, to me those prices look better than usual for an auction at this time of the year (and in this economy!).

Still pretty sad that the majority were under $500, but I don't have any idea what type of minis this auction attracts. If its mostly pet quality, then the price aren't bad.

Very true chandab. I guess I am not familiar with re sale and have no idea what kind of quality was there so I shouldn't have commented.

The Cowtown Classic prices (Shetlands as well as AMHA and AMHR horses) were posted on another forum, and I'm happy to say that at that sale the prices were very, very good in most cases--very nice to see that even at some of the auctions horses are selling well.

I think there was a typo on lot 31 . It was a nice mare and foal that sold for $1025.00 . She was broke to drive single, double and four horse . There were three horses ( 2 mares and weanling) sold as a group and the deal was the 2 went together( mare and foal ) and then lot 26 was to be sold for the same price , so she also was $1025. This was the first horse sale I have been to and it was interesting . I felt sorry for the weanlings some of them looked so young to be leaving thier Moms ...I need to toughen up if I am going to go to these

. I can't imagine how I would be if meat buyers were there !As I looked around the room , I wondered who also belonged to this group ....it would have been nice to put some faces to names ..maybe next year !

This auction has been around for many years and unfortunate

another complete herd dispersal because of health reasons.

We had a lot of new people and a few breeders from Quebec.

3 Auctions a year at Grays Auction in Harriston ON.

Most where AMHR and a few AMHR/AMHA

You are right being this time of year prices where down.

Buyers market for sure.

We have them from every sale back to Oct 2005! What would you like to know?

Just wanted to know which horses sold, also there was a bay appy mare in the sale, can't remember her number but think her name was Sandra. Was curious how much she sold for.

$725.00 and went to Quebec.

She was 32.5 inches

Thanks Genie, I know she sold to Quebec. I saw her tonight on bbsminiatures.com. This lady buys and sells a lot. A few of her Grays purchases are for sale already on her website for much more than she paid for them. She has bought 6 from me in the past and still owns one, Mia on her mare page(jument in french). LOL
