Anyone awake? Look at the moon!

Just wondering if anyone is up - go outside and look at the moon - there is a weird full circle around it. Just never saw anything like it before!

Since I am just a bit SW of you it makes sense I'd see the same ring. I've seen them many times before and my mind has compleatly left me because I don't remember what it is supposed to mean. Rain maybe?

Thanks for the info! I had no idea what I was seeing - I think I've seen a "halo" during the day, but never at night, neither had my husband or a few friends we called to "go out and look!"

Cyndi - it's neat to see there is someone on here so close to me!

I did'nt see it but that may be because I'm quite a ways east of you. I've seen them before tho and I could just sit out there for hours looking at the moon and planet. Just the other day when the moon was a sliver, it was actually ORANGE!! That was pretty neat!
