Anybody ride speed shows or NBHA?

I volunteer at our local horse club. We run pleasure shows and speed shows. I know zip about speed but they always need help so I help where I can. The people who are supposed to know the rules were told last night by a person that we were not supposed to DQ her for crossing back over the timer after her run was over. She circled her horse and set the timer off a second time. I have looked everywhere to find the rule about this and can't find one does anyone know what the rule is? Thanks, Kathy

I run barrels and yes there is no disqualification if the horse and rider are getting back under control if there is no run out. must be a small arena. of course I've been out of it a few years but that is the way it used to be. your club might have different rules.
