My 6 yr old Westie got very sick last week, I thought

I was going to lose my little pal. We aren't sure what caused

the GI problem but I have been thinking about changing

all my dogs food anyway.

I need some help making my own dog food. I plan to use venison and chicken,

but mostly venison.

Does anybody out there make there own??

Thanks,

~Sandy~

2 days in vinigar with water, wash with clear water, cut in small pieces like stew, broil in oil, add water and broil ca 2 hours or till tender depends on the meat

I put the meat over dog food, rice, noodle. My dogs love it.

Natures Recipe has with venison and barley. One of my dogs is sensitive to barley.

Venison is great...I wish I could get more of it but I don't know any hunters. I feed raw so I don't have any recipe's. But really any meat you can get a hold of will work. Just do your research before you start

and eggshells are good for calcium. There's alot of places on the internet and plenty of books. Remember that cooking does take some of the nutrients away. PM if you have any questions even though I feed raw I'm sure I could help answer your questions
