Speaking of cleaning the barn, anyone here use one of those steam cleaners to go over their stalls, etc? (Shark ?)......... I'm thinking steam that hot has to kill the germs etc. I'm thinking of buying one to try. Anyone have a favorite brand, etc?

Hey Cath, I don't have a clue, but doesn't heat have to be a certain degrees to disinfect?

Wow - I like that idea - and it seems like it would dry quickly too!!! My mom has one of those machines....I'm going to see about doing some summer cleaning.

I have a friend who cleans her stalls with a pressure washer. You could use something in it to sanitize. If you've never used one, the cleaning power of those things is amazing. Works like a charm.

Marty, I don't know. I'm trying to find out what temperature the steam is heated to for the machines offered. I know shark has one where you can add soap if desired.
