AMHR Hardshipping?

My little surprise colt is out of a registered AMHR mare. Is there any way, and is it worth the time and money, to hardship him not knowing a thing about the sire?

AMHR doesn't have hardshipping for grade horses, but if he'll mature under 34" and you want to show, then AMHA hardshipping might be worthwhile for a gelding (don't know the gelding fee, but a stallion is the most expensive at $1200).

If he's pinto, there is the Pinto Association, the accept based on color/pattern.
