last year I was over the moon when my stallion RHA Rangers Absolut won the 2011 All-Ireland Supreme Champion of Champions title , after the show I retired him from showing and he has spent the last year relaxing and enjoying life with his ladies , I hadnt planned on taking him back to defend his title but several friends persuaded me to enter him again this year , I had only one month to prepare so wasnt too confident but entered anyway , I cant tell you how happy I was when he won the over 32" stallion class ,(wither height) we then went into the grand champion stallion class and won that too !!! next up was my Absolut foals , only 7 in the class but my foals took champion , reserve champion and third place ...the top three slots!!!!! all the classes had ended and it was time for all the grand champions to enter the ring for the supreme to be chosen , my heart lept when my foal was chosen as first reserve supreme , a yearling colt took reserve supreme and Absolut was called out as Supreme ..our national champion for a second year running ,!!!!

more pics are to come but heres a couple

, Absolut is one of my all time favourite horses and one of the few who I can identify immediately from any of his pictures. Congratulations on your wins and on owning such a special stallion.

Congratulations!! He looks fabulous as do his foals!! That's quite an accomplishment!

Congratulations, I think you know how I feel about him and how proud I am for both of you.

Wowza!!! That's some winning genes there!! What a special boy

Those foals are really 'chips off the block' too - I think they could easily be following in Daddy's footprints with future 'Supreme of Supreme' awards.

You have a special fellow there....but you know that. He not only proved himself for a second year, but his offspring did too! Not a lot of stallions can do that. Congratulations!

I think a lot of the credit should go to James Walsh , he is well trained and so easy to show , he knows his job and enjoys it , makes all the difference in the ring
