Dry Start (to use with the shavings and comparable to Stable Boy) They did a liquid test comparing the two and Dry Start was much more absorbent when straight ammonia was used in the tube and as well there was almost no odor with the Dry Start and the Stable Boy tube ammonia took your breath away.

Feeding Directions

Pleasure Horses: 100 grams (approximately two scoops) per day topdressed or mixed into the ration.

Pregnant Mares, Stallions and Working Horses: Topdress 100 to 150 grams (approximately two to three scoops) per day starting three months

before foaling and continuing through lactation.

Foals: Gradually introduce 50 grams (approximately one scoop) and increase to 100 grams (approximately two scoops) per day. Continue

at this rate until one year of age.

Storage

Keep bags closed. Store in cool, dry area for maximum stability. Avoid leaving bag open for extended periods of time. It is also recommended

to use this product within three months of the date of purchase.

How to feed HorseStart

DO NOT FEED FREE CHOICE. If free choice feeding is preferred, mix HorseStart at the following ratio:

5 parts HorseStart and 1 part white salt.

Note: Monitor intakes and adjust salt level to achieve desired grams of HorseStart per head per day.

After all the feed talk on the forum and seeing some potty bellies on my weanlings I investigated this additional mineral product to feed in conjunction with Horse Krunch.
