8th Annual Oregon Mountain Trail Course 2009

I took some pictures last Friday and got a few of the mini class. Here is the link, they are on pages 4 & 5, mixed with pictures of the big horses.

It was a great course, lots of nice horses, mules and donkey's. Here is a video of a rider doing the course with no bridle.

Oh my goodness that is so cool...like a real mountain trail. I've never seen that before. I would love to see a video of it in hand. How do they judge it?

I just emailed with Barb Lee(harness maker of RED list and CD-L fame). She will be there next weekend. You should look her up. She would be so interesting to meet!

I don't know if my boy, Max would do the water obstacles on this course. They are just way to real for him. He thinks he would drown! I am looking forward to the video of an in-hand mini. Enjoy the experience for all of us!
