Today I took Saber to one of our local elementary schools for his 1st time as part of the R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) program. Not all READ pet partners are dogs. READ is pet assisted therapy where a child reads to the animal. Saber was great. He was quite attentive and...

I just finished Saber's application to join R.E.A.D (along with our cat, Ben) and if all goes well (ie I didn't fail the written test ) Saber will be helping young students this month read at one or two of the Elementary schools here. Info/pixs to come should they become available.

When I take Saber for a drive and this little girl is outside Saber wants to see her just as much as she wants to see him. Its so touching. This was their 2nd encounter.
