I doubt it. My guess is that maybe hormones are not normal again yet. Havent seen it happen in my 20+ years with horses but Im sure that it is possible, though rare.

I had twins myself so learned all sorts of twin stuff... Twins that share a placenta are identical and twins that do not share a placenta are fraternal. Both are possible, its not only one or the other.

Remember, showmanship is judged mostly on the handler. I would think in showmanship you would need to follow the pattern as it was posted but the other classes I think.you would be fine walking.

Alright well I did originally think smokey silver black. Maybe I will just stick with that. I know that they do not all have to be dappled and can vary in color but she's one that has always made me wonder. I guess it would just be easiest to test her for silver to know for sure!

You think? She so doesn't look silver in person. I will have to get a good picture.. She looks brown with no silver to her.. lol

I have finally decided that I have no idea what color Fanny May is after several years of owning her and have decided to test her.. She is registered as a silver dapple but I do not believe that she is. She is very mousey brown in person with a brown/flaxen mane & tail. What would you test her...

Cannot be a grulla without a dun parent and she doesn't seem to have the characteristics imo. She looks silver buckskin to me, especially producing dilute foals. Very pretty little mare though. I love her color!
