    What bloodlines are in?

First and foremost I think you must have a vision and goal of where you want YOUR program and horses to go. You personally have to know what you are trying to achieve. As a breeder I think the one thing one must try to do diligently is to really...and I mean "really" be able to look at your...

    Best accomplishment of the year

The best accomplishment...and long time dream of mine came true this year, when a homebred, raised, trained, conditioned filly of mine was named National Grand Champion, and was presented at Nationals by my long time mentor Belinda Bagy to a unanimous sweep .... Erica's Pharaohs Aziza

I normally have enough grass/pastures to only feed hay to my pasture horses Dec-end of March.........this year I have been feeding hay since first of May, along with feeding three times as much grain to my pasture horses as normal. We usually get 2-3 cuttings on our hay fields, this year we got...

Does anyone on here NOT clip?

Oh no Susanne.....just wanted to say I do "do" that...... As one can see above, even my unclipped natural coated horses have a facial, as it's what I prefer.....but yes gotta do that fine clipping (ears, fetlocks, face) but it sure is nice not having to clip but once a year at Nationals!

Does anyone on here NOT clip?

I don't get on the forum that much...but as stated, I do show horses in a natural coat....actually several. That said these are mostly AMHR/ASPC horses, seems the "shetlands" have a much tighter "big horse" coat to them than their mini counterparts. Coat condition and tightness is also...

    Arabian "Type" Miniatures

Well, I don't post much on here anymore...just due to lack of time... And while I agree I rarely see a mini that makes me think...oh that's a mini Arab, but I do see several that to me have an "arab look" about them, a "modern" mini ...or type, whatever your preference of wording. Just like...

    Nationals...look for people here

I'm 99% of the time in one of these places......at my stalls (Watern' Hole - so it's not hard to miss), or behind the watern' hole walls in my groom room or my horse stalls, or in the ring showing .......then I'm quite likely to be asleep on the couch or probably catching a nap somewhere...

Showing two weekends in a row - clipping?

It's more of a personal opinion, but either way know your horses coat.... I have 13 horses up showing in my barn and I have 3 that I have not clipped at all this year (body clipped) they have shedded out and I touch up them (face, fetlocks, belly, bridlepath) before each show. Then I have 6...
