The bloodtests came back today and my Sparrow is NOT pregnant. Now to get her back into condition for our driving season here in Florida.

Vet wouldn't say by looking at her and never did any kind of exam. Just wanted to do bloodtests. Then if she is only fat wants to do more bloodwork. I told her I know why she is fat if not pregnant. She is my driving pony and has been idle for 4 months! Also being fed as if pregnant, so extra...

Well, I finally had a veterinarian come out to do coggins, vaccinations and pregnancy test. She wouldn't palpate or ultrasound, but did blood tests. Now I have to wait until late this week to get results. 😫

So far no foal...I thought it meant within 48 hours, but she isn't in agreement 😉

Surely this is wax, for real this time! Oh my, this has been an adventure not knowing when my Sparrow actually got bred. Does she look close to foaling now?

Looking more pregnant everyday now. Maiden 12 year old 44 inch Shetland bred by a 34 inch miniature 3 year old stallion. Not sure of breeding date, but between July of 2021 until March 2022 they were in same pasture.

Happy you had a healthy foal and nice looking too. My Shetland is still holding onto her baby. What I thought was wax must not have been, since that was 3 weeks ago. Still bagging up some.

My Shetland pony is still pregnant. Don't know when she is really due. Stud mini was in with her from June 2021 through March of this year. Here is how she looked today.

Could be a few days up to 2 weeks. She is a maiden, so no previous information to go by.
