Has anybody tried feeding a dried garlic to their horses for bug protection? We got a supplements catalog in the mail and they sold dried garlic....has anybody had any luck with it? Kinda want to try it (our minis hate fly spray), but the smallest quantity is a 5lb bucket. :confused: Thanks!

We have a small man-made hill that we are flattening in the pasture, where we want the barn. Should we plant grass on the disturbed dirt to grow while we build a barn and put up fencing? Rye grass? Any suggestions? I know alfalfa is not good.....
