My recently purchased mini, Pepper has proved to be good for starting off friends who are new to driving. All of them are experienced big horse riders. What they have in common are the big grins on their faces as they drive!!! Today was Tom's first drive.

I am contemplating getting another driving mini that also is trained for riding. How much weight can a 38" stocky mini carry? No one warned me about the "potato chip" factor regarding minis. I have that problem with gaited horses. Oh, I am in trouble!!! Karen

When I purchased Pepper, my driving mini, several months ago, I also purchased his nice leather harness. How do you recommend I clean and maintain the harness? I don't have tons of time for its care and maintenance. Thank you, Karen
