I have a mare with moon blindness in both eyes. She has no problem running with the herd. She has had four or five babies and is a very good mother. She bumps into things if she is in a new environment until she learns her way around.

I don't know what brand, but my feed store has a fly block very much like a salt block. It has worked good for me. Horses love it, and it kills the fly eggs in the manure.

Surprise when I went to the barn this morning. Fancy had her baby boy during the early morning. He is approximately 21 inches tall and doing fine. Was concerned because she had trouble last time, because it was her first foal.

Mare has had bag for over a month now and spends a lot of time off by herself away from the herd. She is due May 10th according to my chart. Should I be keeping a close eye on her?
